Vietnam 2026

Returning to Vietnam in May 2026 was a dream long in the making—one that began when I first visited this enchanting country in 2009. What I discovered was a nation that had embraced its tourism potential while preserving the quiet cultural corners that had captivated me all those years ago. Though places like Hoi An and Hanoi had grown into beloved destinations for travellers from around the world, it was still possible to step away from the crowds and uncover the same serene, authentic experiences that first stole my heart.  What can I say about the coffee? It was worth the journey back - especially for a refreshing icy cold coconut coffee, prepared the true Vietnamese way.
